Our ‘analyse everything’ approach combines qualitative and quantitative analysis to provide you with a holistic assessment.
An efficient audit process.
We meticulously plan every audit to ensure minimal business disruption and agile information sharing. Our process typically follows these steps:
- Initial Discovery Session: We understand your business goals, agree on key contact points, and establish the data-sharing process.
- Engagement Letter and Confidentiality Agreement: We issue the necessary documents to formalise our engagement.
- Stakeholder Identification and Scheduling: We work with you to identify key stakeholders and schedule interviews and meetings.
- Questionnaires and Business Information: We send questionnaires to key stakeholders and gather relevant business information from you.
- Data Gathering and Interpretation: We continue data gathering, conduct interviews, and interpret the information collected.
- Audit Report Building: We compile all findings, insights, and recommendations into a detailed audit report.
- Present Findings: We submit the audit report to you, highlighting key insights and recommendations. We also present a summary to your Senior Leadership Team for Q&A.
Convenient and secure collaboration.
While most of the audit can be conducted remotely, some aspects may require on-site presence. We request access to a designated contact who can assist with information sharing and scheduling of people's diaries. For your assurance, we maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security throughout the audit process:
- Mutual Confidentiality Agreement: We enter into a Mutual Confidentiality Agreement (MCA) before the engagement begins. The MCA is issued electronically and can be filled and signed online. Upon completion you receive a copy of the MCA and a certificate of signature for your compliance records.
- Secure Data Sharing Client Portal: During the audit process we will request business information from you. At the point of engagement, we will build a secure client portal which is held in our Microsoft Teams tenant on a European Azure Windows server. Access to the client portal will be strictly limited to the Fractional CMO conducting the audit and key stakeholders authorised by you. Any business information you share with VCMO will be deleted from our systems at the end of the engagement. An email and screenshots confirming deletion will be sent to you.
Audit Deliverables.
- Detailed Audit Report: We provide actionable recommendations and strategies to enhance your marketing performance, address weaknesses, capitalise on opportunities, and achieve organisational goals.
- Management Presentation: We present a summary of our findings to your Senior Leadership Team and take questions. This can be delivered face-to-face or remotely.
- We minimise business disruption: We keep interviews with key stakeholders as short as reasonably possible. Most of the audit will be conducted remotely through video conferencing and e-surveys.
- We maintain high levels of confidentiality: We ask you to sign a Mutual Confidentiality Agreement (MCA) at initial engagement. All data sharing is managed through a secure client portal (Microsoft Teams) with access limited to approved individuals.
- We ensure high levels of professionalism and discretion throughout the entire audit process especially when conducting interviews with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers & business partners.
