FAQ’s
Absolutely. If there's a change in your business needs and you're looking to engage a Fractional Marketing Executive on an ad-hoc basis, you're free to switch to our Flex Pricing Plan after the first three months of engagement. Or, if a fixed price for specific work is more your style, our Fixed Pricing Plan is another option. Whichever route you decide on, we'll provide an updated Scope of Work to reflect your choice.
You can cancel the Retainer Agreement without incurring a fee by giving three months' or more written notice. Otherwise, we impose a cancellation charge equivalent to two hire days based on the standard day rate for your company size. We implement a cancellation fee because our Fractional Marketing Executives reserve their schedules exclusively for your brand, and the scale reflects potential lost work. You can avoid a cancellation fee by engaging with our Flex Pricing Plan.
Once we have agreed to work together, we issue our Terms of Business through our Zoho platform that you can review and sign electronically.
Before an engagement begins we work together to define and agree a Scope of Work. You enter into a minimum six-month Retainer Agreement consisting of at least 12 hire days. All details will be included in our proposal for the Scope of Work and you simply sign our Terms of Business.

Every Retainer Agreement is customised to your specific marketing requirements and commercial objectives. The deliverables will be agreed and detailed in a Scope of Work prior to engagement.

Our equitable pricing philosophy takes into account that bigger companies typically have more complicated needs and can afford a higher level of marketing expertise. It wouldn't be fair to charge small businesses the same rate given the difference in resources and needs.
Since VCMO is in its early stages, maintaining a healthy cash flow is crucial for us. Therefore, we kindly ask our clients to pay for our services once a day of hire or a sequence of consecutive hire days is completed. We will continue review and adjust our payment terms once we have achieved sufficient scale.
Absolutely not. You enter into a minimum 6-month Retainer Agreement with 3-month’s notice of cancellation. You may prefer to engage with our Flex Pricing Plan which comes without any contract and you are charge on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Yes. Any travel costs incurred by our Fractional Marketing Executives supporting your business will be itemised on our invoices, and receipts will be provided. For any agreed on-site work, travel and subsistence expenses will be claimed commensurate with your travel policy. This will be agreed with you before any travel commitment is made by your Fractional Executive.
